Thanks Nikki, as well as clawing my way to the top, I needed cat like reflexes and all of my 9 lives to keep on my feet coming back down.

There was a rumour at the finish that one lad had broken his leg, I did see the Mountain Rescue with a man on a stretcher but wasn’t sure if he was a runner or a walker.

I ran it in 2:12 was thinking of doing 2 hours to 2:15 beforehand even a craze idea of braking the 2 hour mark, so about as well as I could expect, made the top 3rd of the field that finished, that is a reasonable reflection of my ability.

Will do a full report later.

to just make it to the top and back is no mean feat let alone doing it in 2hrs 10 mins so give yourself a huge pat on the back for a job well done - even though you are a Legend
