Tuesday 18th - Festive fun
Ok - so Annan again this week - 6.30 at the swimming pool for a festive fun handicapped challenge with a difference .
The only things you need to bring is concentration at the start (to listen carefully to the rules), enthusiam and a watch (the watch is optional but would be useful).

Re: Tuesday 18th - Festive fun
Well it was the event of the year - the inaugural (and possibly last!) ADAC Festive Fun Handicap Points Challenge, and what a night, thrills, spills outrageous behaviour and the crowning of the champion team.
Three very differnt tactical approaches shown by each team - high octane power from Andrew & Chris, wily navigation skills combined with feminine guile by Nigel and the girls (Nic, Lou and Janet) and sheer bloddy minded determination from Murphy, Alan C and Ernie.
At the final reckoning the extra miles and time on course from team Murphy was their undoing and the (possibly generous) handicap allowance provided for Nigel's dodgy knee and Nic's general aches and pains proved to be the clinchers as the emerged triumphant.
I'm just relieved everyone got back safely - Phew!
Final scores:
1. Nigel, Nic, Lou and Janet + 380
2. Andrew & Chris + 268.8
3. Murphy, Alan & Ernie -54.4 (minus!!!!! )
Well done to all - if you weren't there you missed out!
(P.S. Nicola promised to share the prize on Sunday!)

Brilliant Andy, you really got your thinking cap on for this one. Jose yes you missed out on a lotta fun, as I will miss out on Sunday's fun
This festive challenge gets my vote for a return , could even do similar in the Summer longer daylight hours, the possibilities are endless. Who knows it might even lead to an ADAC Orienteering section, or am I thinking too fat ahead ha ha?

Got to say Andy it was the event of the year. I really enjoyed it. Even better cause we won. Janet says I'm really competitive. Don't know where she gets that idea from!!
But cheers Andy for a well organised bit of fun. The people in Annan didn't know what was going on.
Defo anevent that we need to do again.
