New course - flat 2.7 mile

Just been looking at a new course just outside Lockerbie- well running it actually.

It's FAST and I mean FAST flat course with one rise of only 40ft.

Would be good for a training special or even a relay run in the summer.
Not much traffic and less than 2 miles outside of the town.

Click below to see the course. It's the first 2.7 loop section and you can see where the pace drops after that as I just do a warm down home.

Check the elevation graph too as you will see how little it rises/dips.

This really is a good loop section and at 2.7miles it's perfect for a BLAST !

Sounds perfect for the relay event will need to set a date for that we could have a chat about it when at Georges on Thursday.

Anybody wanting to meet on the Tuesday for a stride out on the school field thought wouldnt do any harm to do a few faster not flat out laps of field.

Think I'll give the group run on Tuesday a miss - I'm just concentrating on getting some steady mileage into my legs just now. At the moment I'm not running on Thursday either - but never say never!!! Here's hoping for a good turn out from team ADAC in my absence!

Sorry folks won't make thursday , looks like i'm gonna be having a long term achilles problem. (after me saying that im normally a quick healer). might be able to come along to marshall if needed or spectate but i don't know what work has got in store for tmz evening.
