Duncan says I will be out for 3 weeks, Mad Sad I thought the problem was my knee but he recon’s that it is actually my hamstring, the hamstring attaches to the side of the knee and I have torn it at the connection point. He has given me exercises to do, one day I will run again. Rolling Eyes

On a better note my running partner, that is Igg, not Louise, Laughing is now mum to 9 new potential running partners, mother and pups are doing well once they are a little bigger I will put up some cute photos of them.

Kev ,

That's bad and good news but mostly good as cruciate damage would take much much longer to recover from.
Delighted for Iggy and the new family - hope they are doing well.

You will be back soon though Kev.
Went a run/swim today.
Soaked right through - 10 miles and 12 lengths lol
3 events to go.
Could you walk...........if we need the points ???
Smile

I might have to come and walk then to counter the points the dazzlers will get. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I will see how I go I might run round with Louise if the knee is pain free by then, it will be a two week rest by then, which is nearly three weeks and when he said 3 he must of known there was a chance I would try and get back running in less than that. Question Idea

Please don't chance running on it Kev. If Duncan said 3 weeks then allow 3 weeks. It's not worth it as you could delay recovery and cause more problems for next season. Your health comes first. Hope you soon better. Grannybuff

Kev.................in all seriousness if you are injured then don't risk it.

If you run then it might not be a good idea.

Just go with what you feel.

Not putting any pressure on you at all.

So...........SEE YOU SUNDAY ABOUT 10-15

Very Happy

Anyhow we might need wellies guys it is pretty muddy up there however I am confident we will get round we are brick hard we can do it Cool

Caroline, glad u getting back to running. Just take it easy. My sciatica was starting to improve bit then flared up again last Sunday so am back on full dose all painkillers again. My blood pressure also sky high. Saw physio Tuesday and he said I have adverse neural tension as when I stand and lower my head it sets off pain all down my leg as irritation at facet joint is irritating sciatic nerve and nerve up to my head. I have exercises to do every hour. Hope you have good day Sunday. Grannybuff
