LOCKERBIE 10km RUN

All roads lead to Lockerbie tonight for the annual 10km.
Parking is restricted this year at the school so I would suggest parking at the PONSSE Ind. estate just across from me. You can also park in my driveway (first come first served - space for 2 cars) at cost of £5 it's a bargain ;-)

We will decide later on the direction of the run - last year we ran in reverse which was quite uncomfortable as I kept tripping up and couldn't see where I was going. DOH !

I hope we do run it backwards, I like running backwards, when you overtake me Joe I feel like I am running backwards in every race.

For those of you who paid attention at the start of the road running season it was decided then the toute was to be run in reverse

Seeing this is the second concurrent year we have run the race backwards, does this meant than the backwards route is now the forwards route?

So is reverse clockwise or anti-clockwise? Since I've no experience of the course I've nothing to 'reverse' - blinking confusing

just behave yourself you lot I shall explain at the start . . . and pay attention !

Cazza's back !

Well done everybody tonight, great turn out on a miserable night for mid summer, on the up side there was no problem with getting too hot on the run although the wind gave you something to work with.

Thanks to Lynda and George for the tea and refreshments, it was nice to have Cazza back even if you an’t running yet.

I totally agree Kev - a good challenging course in less than ideal conditions. Good food and a blether afterwards.

The next event is that 2.7 mile flat blast, a chance for a speed merchant like yourself Andy to leave me well behind, I need hills to flatter my times. I recon if you give me a couple of minutes that would be about right you should just catch me before the finish.
