Training night Tuesday is a gentle group jog around Brownmoor as we have the Brydekirk race on Thursday meet at the sawmill for 7pm

Great stuff Kev and Gordon, fantastic times for a debut marathon.

I'll be up for a forest run on Tuesday (does anyone need a lift?) but I'll be missing on Thursday - got to give Jose a chance to get back on terms in the Champs!

I might have looked OK but I was hurting big time by then, I will have to look on I-player to see myself. My legs are very sore and stiff but don’t think I have picked up any injuries, usually for me some might say.

Good try with the rain but all that is achieved was getting us soaked just before the start and then stop when we were running.

It was a great experienced. I have learnt a bit about what IMO is needed to work for me and what didn’t.

I will try and get a members report wrote so you can read all about our trip.

Another great marathon report from Gordon - I'm sure you'll get under 3.30 next time!

As for me my legs are a bit stiff after the Lockerbie training night, the testosterone levels seemed to climb as the distances got shorter!!

Looking forward to Langholm now and a good club showing by all.
