Hi, everyone, another hotly contested team event at Langholm on Sunday.
Nobody mentioned it was like Kilimanjaro, my altitude training isn't quite up to scratch yet.
On a serious note would it be possible for someone with the quantum physics degree to update the team standings so I can include points in this week's paper.

I think the team scores were:

Voodoo: 1 + 7 + 13 = 21 - 2 = 19
Bold Runners: 9 + 10 = 19 +10 = 29
All Stars: 4 + 6 + 14 = 24 - 1 = 23
Render ADAC: 2 + 3 + 11 = 16 - 3 = 13

Yes I will verify all calculations but obviously Render wants to know how much he is in the lead so he will get 500pts for being pushy

Well there you have it folks Andy Render will stop at NOTHING to try and get himself and his team on top.

Having checked the points awarded in his "calculations" I found that he diddled Gordy's All Stars out of a point.

Here are the AMENDED points from Langholm.

Bold Runners: 9 + 10 = 19 +10 = 29
All Stars: 4 + 6 + 14 = 24 - 2 = 22
Render ADAC: 2 + 3 + 11 = 16 - 3 = 13

Now updating the total scores we see that ANDY'S (Always diddling always cheating) team are still in the lead.

You're right Mr Render tut tut, i Have already been in touch with Mr David Mundell our local MP & he is going to raise the matter in the house of commens. Capital Punishment could be brought back .

So it seems the 'voodoo one' is now focussing his evil magic on me, Gordy and Andrew K (having already done in for poor Kev) - does this mean he is not focussing on his running - the evidence of Tuesday evening and his feeble excuse of skipping training for band practice suggests so.
Have a good weekend folks, I think I might do a recce run of the route from Annan pool to Newbie to check for voodoo mantraps ahead of next Tuesday!

I think i had enough of the evil voodooisme' last season, I think Andy that Jose was really out looking at secret locations where he can lay some of that evil potion.

Sorry to let my team down, Joes bloody Voodooo.

Anyway seeing my team is beset with injuries, ie me and John ,and it wouldn’t do any of you any good to have an easy victory I would like to bring on a substitute to make a bit of a competition of it.

The bloke I have in mind was running with us tonight round the crooked road, Jim knows him, I spoke to him and he said he would love to join my team. Apparently he used to run some years ago but is now looking to get back in it, he has a strange name for a bloke I think he said it was Carol?????

Poor old Bold Runners are not having the best of times.

Penalised again for not having their full quota of m/f.

Anyways - the way to beat RENDER is to PACK YOUR TEAM MEMBERS IN

A point is a point.

Here are the scores:

Voodoo 1+4+12-2=15 86+15= 101
ADAC 2+5+9-2= 14 55+14= 69
ALL STARS 6+7+14-2=25 91+25= 116
BOLD 3+11+(10)-1=23 112+23= 135


So adding that to the points so far on the doors it's clear that Render is searching for that illusive title.


Will Voodoo start taking points from them and will the spell start to work ?
Will Bold runners get their act together ?
Will the ALL STARS twinkle or just fade into the milky way ?

Listen here Mr Jose I'm not happy with us being penalized for not having enough male runners the fact is us women are keeping the flag flying it was stated in the rules at the beginning that points penalty if no female runner ran but NOT IF NOT ENOUGH MALES RUN its hard enough for us women to finish ahead of the men and its simply NOT FAIR
so get it sorted Grrrrrrrr and reinstate our hard earned points !!!!!!!!!!!

I'm inclined to agree with Caza! It doesn't seem right to penalise a team that had three runners in the race.

Thanks for support Andy actually we had 4 runners 3 of which were female so we should in theory get extra points deducted for that !!!
And Mr Jose its not my best half time ever it,s best for about 10 years but i have ran a 91 minute half in my hey day - when was that . . . a long time ago yes ok no remarks on that please !!!!!!
