FUN WEEKEND

WINTER FUN WEEKEND
( TEAM POINTS AVAILABLE ) – January 11th , 12th & 13th
Friday night - Lockerbie Roundabout Run 2 or 4 Miles 7pm start ( Meet usual lorry park Lockerbie )
Saturday Morning 10.00am- Annan - Brydekirk – Hoddom - River Run Approx 12 Miles ( Meet Everholm Annan )
( There are shorter runs of 3 or 6 miles available for anyone who wants to walk/jog)
Sunday Afternoon 1pm - Langholm Monument run/walk ( top of monument and back ) ( Meet Leisure Centre car park )

Your 3 times will be added together after the first 2 events then on the Sunday people will set off in their time order i.e. quickest time goes first 2nd next and so on therefore the person who finishes first will be the winner. You may opt to do only 1 or 2 events but obviously you will not be a contender for the top spot but you will receive team points . There are also options for people to do the shorter versions and they will receive half the points for their team.

After a group discussion there will be a small one off charge of £2.00 which will go towards refreshments which we have after our winter/road league runs.

You can click on this webpage which will bring up a map of the course for the first event. The start is easy to find. From the centre of Lockerbie head for the B723 road to Eskdalemuir. Just as you leave the town there is a Ponsse industrial site on the right hand side.Take the right hand turn off and right again at the new Ambulance station and you will find ample car parking space around the back.

The first runner will start at around 7pm.
