A great night for a run. Empty A great night for a run.

Me and Andy F had a brilliant run last night, the weather
was great, it was so warm like a summers night. We ran through the woods up
Galloway hill then Hind hill follow by a good climb up to the Cairn at Graighill,
at this point we the light had gone so we put on the head torches.

We then ran along the ridge towards to Hartfell before we
dropped down one of the forest rides. In the ride we were running on snow it
was quite strange running in snow when it was so warm. We then turned on to the
forest track before climbing up the other side of Graighill back to the cairn,
from there we took in the view of the lights flickering in Moffat and the traffic
winding its way on the M74.
There was no wind for the first time in ages up
there. Heading home we went back over Hind hill where Andy decided that we best
do a killer flat out fast climb, followed by a steady run to Galloway Hill and
back to Andy’s house for homemade flapjacks.

An enjoyable run with impressive views in the night time.
